Bob- I'm SO sorry, I hate to be flakey, but my friend who I was planning to go to SXSW with flaked just now.... her finances ain't cuttin it for her at the moment, so we're going to plan for next year.

But looks like we're going to start planning to hit up NY for the CMJ Marathon.... whoo hooo!

Damn I am no go at this point. We have another seminar coming up at the end of the month and the planning stage was supposed to be done by now, but it is in a holding pattern. I can't leave because I am one of only 3 people in my division.

I was really looking forward to meeting a real live obner...

It really is amazingly awesome. Austin seems like it would be cool at all time,s like a bigger, mor state capital Athens, with Texas thrown in the mix. I WILL make it out sometime this year.

SXSW was one of the best sex-free weekends of my life.

Nouce (a.k.a. nice)....I'll be there (probably right after I clock out of work at 6:30 or so)...so, if I'm lucky, I'll be front row-ish too because, from what few songs I've heard, the new album is a buttkicker...

not a Darnielle-style buttkicker, mind you, but a buttkicker nonetheless...

GOD....I have a good hour at least, and I'm nursing this last one in the realization that I will have 3 chicas at my house at 10am tomorrow...

I'm semi-realistic...the one who I'm inviting is periously hung up on her Ex, one has a long-distance boyfriend...

It's the one I haven't quite formally met yet that offers the most (if any) promise...What, am I supposed to be a Bravado-filled Male about this?

33% would be an overly-optimistic estimate, split between 3 ladies... Still, I did manage to (semi)clean my room tonight...
