catswilleatyou is excited about this release
dirtnap has been pushing it back for a long time

IMO one of the finer sorta-active punk bands.

Blurring the rawness and velocity of their self-titled debut
with the slightly more developed songwriting "chops" of the
last two, the Marked Men have truly delivered the best of both
worlds. you can pop the needle on "Ghosts" for 5 seconds and
instantly be left without a doubt as to whom you are listening
It ain't pop-punk. It ain't power-pop. It ain't KBD or '77
style punk. At this point, the Marked Men sound like absolutely
no one but themselves

catswilleatyou really digs this album.

marked men have a way of putting just enough spin on a hook to keep me listening. simple flippant/but somehow smart lyrics.

as long as they don't do any shitty commercials this will make my 2009 top 10.

I had a problem unzipping as well, but it seems to play alright.

I'm about halfway through right now.

this is really good, listened to it at once each of the last few days. maybe i'll put it to the side for now to not go crazy on it.

i listened to the LP earlier today and the mix sounded awful. i might just stick with the mp3s.

is it because this band is essentially on indefinite hiatus that the production value (music production, artwork) is so slapdash?

Yeah, I got this on vinyl and the sound's not so good. I still like it a lot though and I've heard much worse. My Love is my favorite song on there. It starts to run together a bit in spots, but that tune jumps out at me for the different guitar style on there as opposed to the rest of the record.

Haven't seen it for sale yet, but I oughta go look, been having fun with 45s lately.

i can't decide between "ditch" and "get to you" as my favorites. those always stand out whenever i listen to it. i've had "ditch" stuck in my head for hours, even while listening to other albums.
