I haven't listened (or even had the urge) to Grandaddy in at least three years, but for some bizarre reason, I woke up yesterday morning with "I'm On Standby" playing in my brain on endless loop.

I was somehow under the impression that you hated that band. Don't remember why. I might've gotten you confused with the other 400 or so people here that do.

Also, "Deacon Blues" has been on repeat in my mind for the past week or so.

i have been addicted to the Great Lake Swimmers first album this weekend, particularly "Moving, Shaking", and "Three Days At Sea (Three Lost Years)", though the entire album is addictive.

I can't rec this self titled album enough! A+++

I neither hate them nor love them. Some of their stuff is decent enough.

The year it came out I liked that Fu Manchu album more than QotSA's "Rated R" - super dumb fun.
