This is the first show I can think of that is actually doing time travel right. None of those stupid fucking Heroes/X-Men travesties.

Yes! That is the way time travel would work and I can't emphasize how glad I am that they're doing it properly and not invoking alternate realities and separate timelines and other bullshit sci-fi crap like that. I wonder how much of that I owe to Brian K. Vaughan's involvement.

Charlotte was presumably born on the island, right? Is that why she's forgetting things and getting headaches and nosebleeds from the jumps? Because she's not supposed to be jumping. She's supposed to be staying constant like Richard.

Best theory I can come up with regarding Daniel is that he's a former ageless Other with amnesia. He actually was around helping build the Orchid decades ago but at some point he lost his memory of that and wound up living in the US. That's why, when we first meet him and he's watching the news report about the Oceanic crash and crying, he says he doesn't know why.

Did Miles use his ghosthunting abilities to track down the dead boar? That's pretty awesome.

Who the hell were the guys who attacked Juliet and Sawyer? Their clothing looked outdated which made me think they were pre-Dharma, pre-Others but who goes around saying they'll chop off your hand and then ask questions?

Who is Daniel's mother that Desmond's supposed to go visit? I thought it was going to be Ms. Hawking but she appears to be in California not Oxford.

And Ben's got three days to get the Oceanic Six to Hawking's secret underground hideout complete with giant pendulum and winding staircase? How deliciously megalomaniacal.

i disagree... i think with all the experiments he conducted back at the university, the effects started to wear down on him so that's why he's so scatterbrained. the notebook is his guide to help him remember.

also, in thinking it over tonight... when claire warns kate back in s4 "don't you dare raise him" and all the warnings of "you're not supposed to bring him back" aren't about aaron, it's about locke. interesting to see how he gets off the island and "dies."

I have to believe those left behind are now on Dharma late 70's time. Lots of mythology to be explained and what a genius way to do it.
