Really?
Hmmm...

I've only heard the single ('So Bored') which I thought was very catchy.
I'm looking forward to listening to this.
Don't shit on my parade, buddy.

Alright, this isn't very good.

'No Hope Kids' and 'So Bored' are keepers, tho.

no hope kids and so bored are the better ones, for sure.

still, I don't see what all the hype was about. I've been reading all the talk about this thing, and how badly people just can't wait to suck this albums cock.

a lot of people are about to find out that this piece of shit has a cheese cock.

With influences like The Beach Boys and Beat Happening, how could you go wrong?

I like "California Goth" because I'm pretty sure I could record it myself with a packing case, a blender and an answering machine message of my grandmother berating me for walking in front of the TV during professional wrestling.

I been jammin on this one for a couple weeks.
Man... I'm out of the loop. This is getting good reviews?!
I was under the impression it was too trash can sounding to get any attention.
Of course I like it.

Also... I thought Dalen and OPA! would like it.
Kind of like No Age Nouns pushed further into a depressing cave.

ALSO,
that cover fucking rules

I thought the same thing.

I downloaded it, so thanks Banger, but you guys don't have my expectations very high.

Would I like it...anyone? I've tried to find it multiple times (I still don't know where you guys find new albums and/or leaks). The fact that Dalen hates it gives me the slightest bit of hope, but I'll try to give it a listen in the next couple days.

I'm taking a listen now instead of writing my paper that's due tomorrow...it sounds like the Sic Alps but not as good. Some of it's pretty decent though.

Somebody gave me this the other day and compared to it some of Ariel Pink's stuff, so I was kind of excited. Needless to say that excitement did not last long. There's a couple of decent tracks, but as a whole it makes me sad that De Stijl is associated with this crap.

I don't see what's so offensive about this album. I could see people being indifferent to it, but compared to most of the shit that the people in this thread listen to...
