All my references rely on having a somewhat good knowledge of indiepop in general, so I don't know.

I compare them to Black Tambourine, The Manhattan Love Suicides, The Pastels, or Comet Gain. They're noisy but they're on Slumberland.

A lot of people have dubbed them shoegaze but that's not really the case.

yeah, the snippets i heard didn't sound like the reviews calling them shoegaze/MBV-sounding.

I'm aware that at least half, if not more, of the music I listen to has female vocalists but this list right here is way skewed. I think there's only six entries there without any femme singing and they're all clustered together near the bottom.

1. The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart
2. Po’ Girl – Deer In The Night
3. Alela Diane – To Be Still
4. Bruce Peninsula – A Mountain Is A Mouth
5. Bat For Lashes – Two Suns
6. Neko Case – Middle Cyclone
7. Asobi Seksu – Hush
8. Julie Doiron – I Can Wonder What You Did With Your Day
9. Tonka & Puma [EP]
10. Coeur De Pirate
11. Ben Lee – The Rebirth Of Venus
12. Yeah Yeah Yeahs – It’s Blitz!
13. Mirah – (a)spera
14. Timber Timbre
15. Clem Snide – Hungry Bird
16. Loney, Dear – Dear John
17. Coconut Records – Davy
18. Ben Kweller – Changing Horses
19. A Camp – Colonia
20. Crystal Antlers – Tentacles
