14 minutes-7rebounds, 5 blocks. I think that was the line for the game.

Yeah. Without three pointers I think his two point shooting percentage is in the mid 30s.

Quite possibly the worst game I've ever attended, and I was there when they got blown out by an Iverson-less Sixers last season.

That was the best fourth quarter of the season. From the 5 minute mark on, I don't think they had an empty trip.

In a related story, the Atlanta Hawks lost their 23rd consecutive road game last night. When reached for comment, the Hawks head coach said "we really starting to come together in this effort to get the number one pick. I mean did you see our great young hope Josh Smith our there tonight? He was high flyin, rim shakin, and contributing. I mean, what did he end up with tonight?"

2 points and 4 rebounds coach.

"YOU SEE!! We'll get this draft pick yet!"

But, didn't John Lucas, Jr., already say that, or something similar, when he was still coaching the Cavaliers and they were hungry for the most balls in the lottery, that they could have top shot at Lebron?

The Atlanta Hawks campaign for the number 1 draft pick took a hit last week when they pulled out a victory from the jaws of defeat over the Toronto Raptors. Fortunately for Hawks fans the ship was righted with a loss to the Warriors Saturday.

Atlanta's coach when reached for comment had this to say, "We're fighting hard to maintain focus and close this season out but I guess you can't lose them all."

This thread is about the Bulls, not the Hawks. To make it about both, are you guys thinking about giving Curry the max?

To show you how much I keep up with it, I have no idea what you're talking about.

But, does it help if every day the Hawks lament not taking Luol Deng in the draft?

Eddy Curry is a restricted free agent this offseason and the Hawks are one of the few teams with the money to offer him the max. If they were to do so, the Bulls might not match the offer. Therefore there has been some speculation.

Gotta bump for another amazing performance by Ben Gordon.

Recap from Bulls.com:

Quote:
CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Ticker) -- Ben Gordon certainly is playing like a Rookie of the Year candidate.

Gordon scored 22 of his season-high 35 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Chicago Bulls to a season high-tying seventh straight victory, a 102-99 triumph over the Charlotte Bobcats.

Gordon scored the final 16 points for the Bulls, who were without starting point guard Kirk Hinrich (strained left hamstring) for a fifth straight game and also were missing starting center Eddy Curry (flu-like symptoms).

Chicago trailed, 95-93, before Gordon nailed a spinning jumper over 7-1 Bobcats center Primoz Brezec with 1:14 remaining. The rookie guard from Connecticut gave the Bulls the lead for good, 98-95, on a 3-pointer with 42 seconds to play.

After a layup by Jason Hart two seconds later pulled Charlotte within 98-97, Gordon answered with a 3-pointer over Brezec from well beyond the top of the arc with 22 seconds left, opening a four-point cushion.

Hart and Keith Bogans each missed jumpers for the Bobcats before Gordon split a pair of free throws for a five-point lead with three seconds left, rendering Hart's buzzer-beating jumper meaningless.

Othella Harrington and Jannero Pargo each scored 16 points for the Bulls (39-31), who remained one game behind Washington for fourth place in the Eastern Conference.

Gerald Wallace scored 12 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter and Brezec and leading Rookie of the Year candidate Emeka Okafor - Gordon's UConn teammate and friend - added 17 and 10 rebounds apiece for Charlotte, which is 0-3 against Chicago this season.

With 4:55 remaining, Bulls big man Tyson Chandler and Bobcats point guard Brevin Knight were ejected after getting into an altercation.

23 fucking points in the fourht quarter that game was ridiculous.

he has the potential to be the best player ever but i dont think that will ever be realized.
