Here are a couple of tracks from the upcoming album. Seems they've ditched the guitars for the synths, which normally is not a good thing, but these two songs are pretty okay.

Around 60MB, so I'm guessing 192. It's at bolachas gratis.

Are any of their albums as good as Is Is?

I didn't love that, but I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I can't see digging this band minus the guitars.

Fever To Tell is fantastic, and their first two EP's are pretty good.

Nothing they've done since then has had the same energy.

I'm grabbing this now, I've like all their albums, including Show Your Bones. I don't quite get why people think it was so radically different than Fever to Tell.

Fuck the link is dead. Anyone else got it?

OTM, with the exception of Is Is.

I thought Show Your Bones was a major step forward for YYYs. Fever to Tell blew besides 2-3 songs.

Although it didn't get a real dedicated listen, I liked what I heard so far.

Yep. This is the same as the Modest Mouse argument. Band got good = indie hate.

I've only listened to Blitz a couple times, but I'm liking it so far. Karen O's voice really shines this time out.

I actually quite like this on first listen.

I just found Show Your Bones to be really... I don't even know how to describe it. Just slow and passive. Every time I heard 'Gold Lion' I wondered whey she was ripping off Tegan And Sara instead of continuing what was great about the first few discs.

I once asked a lesbian if Tegan & Sara did it with each other and she wasn't impressed.

I've played the record 3x in a row and I'm enjoying the hell out of it.

Saying Modest Mouse "got good" is proof that you never listened to them early on.

Or proof that I never liked them. And that you did.
