I have seen them all. I think I was hoping for something else. Something better than the originals. It's not keeping me up at night or anything, but I wished it could have been better. There were two times that I laughed and very loudly at that. I haven't really talked to anyone that liked the originals to see what they thought of this one.

my expectations keep getting lowered with each new cgi-packed trailer.

i'm completely geeking out for it.

as far as any good horror movies i've seen lately, don't know if i mentioned this, but watched MAY - shit was twisted. kinda not pleased w/elm street remake and eagerly anticipating rob zombie's H2. i also liked the LHOTL remake.

The reviews are looking extremely good for this... My expectations are going through the roof right now... can't freakin' wait!!!

drag me to hell was pretty fun ala evil dead 2 though some of the cgi was iffy.

Watching Last House on the Left these days doesnt hold the same shock value as it did when it was released....It was one of my faves back in the day as well, but you are correct, that in today's world, it is simply not as shocking...

it made me feel like wanting to take a couple of showers after watching it. but yeah, it's good.

as for upcoming horror flicks i'm anticipating, ZOMBIELAND - starring bill murray, october release. also saw a preview for TRICK R TREAT at fango and that looks really, really good.
