Is anyone watching this?

It's on Adult Swim on Thursdays, and is about a family in the Witness Protection Program that decides to do a reality show in New York. Of course, since they're in the WIP they have to wear ski masks all the time and have their voices surgically altered to sound like those modulators. Oh, and it was created by and stars Jon Glaser.

I've only seen 2 episodes, but it's cracking me up.

I fucking LOVE this show and I'm a huge Jon Glaser fan, can't wait to see more of Eugene Mirman as the Russian mobster trying to be a comedian, the episode that focused on him a couple of weeks ago was great.

loved the ska-mitzvah with skafilte fish

If you're not familiar with him, here is one of his great bits.

He was on the best show a few weeks ago talking about it, and the more I watch it, the more I can't imagine how scared I would be to run around New York in a ski mask talking into a camera.

i watched the pilot episode online. it really cracked me up.. but this joke can only go 1 season. but... i think that's the type of show that belongs in adult swim.

i met jon glaser at nathan's at coney island a few years ago. he was kind of a dick, but i guess he didn't expect anyone to recognize him while he was eating a loaded hot dog. since then i've never really kept track of what he's done. but this sounds like it has potential.

The Get Your War On thing was fantastic. I mean, he really hasn't done anything that was awful, as far as I know. 'cept maybe Stroker & Hoop...

I'm my experience, comedians aren't really that excited to be recognized offstage. Todd Barry all but jumped behind the bar when I saw him in a crowd once.

todd barry was actually pretty cool with me until one of my friends just had to mention that we knew the person who'd inspired him to write the play we'd just seen him in. after that, he wanted nothing to do with us. next time i saw him, i kept a distance.

yeah, he was pretty cool, and we talked for awhile, but he just looked really uncomfortable the whole time.

I drunkenly cornered Mirman a few times and that always went better because he'd be just about hammered.

Fucking love this show. Aren't these guys also writers for Conan O'Brien?

Sunday night's show scene/line that cracked me up was after the awkward exchange in the coffee shop, the modulated voice saying "Ugh, I don't like scones".

That scones line was awesome.

just watching him eat in that mask is priceless.

I know Glaser got a big start on the Conan show, and I think the dude playing the Secret Service agent did. And those doormen look pretty familiar...

"Is that a fake mustache?"

show got renewed and extended to half-hour episodes.

I've been laughing all day at the line "You're just mad because he's taking mom to the bone zone".

Like, all day.

then, googled "bone zone" and found out that there's a website called bonezone. and it's about trombones. and check it out; they have bone tips.

How many episodes are there of Delocated so far? I've only seen five, but they're hilarious.

Love the ska episode and the golf membership one.

seven? I still haven't seen the gold membership episode, though I think most of it is on the Adult Swim site

Unless there's some hidden context, that bone zone comment isn't very funny.

I haven't liked what I've seen of this show. That said, Adult Swim's got a pretty killer overall lineup right now.

The episode last night was just brilliant. The Russian mobster sending notes to everyone in that terrible broken English, Kim going "jewish" and Jon subsequently hating her jew character, Jon broken down into his multiple personalities only to be brought out of his state by a "Bernied" Mike. Next week looks incredible with Jon running for dog mayor of NYC.

Shit, I don't think my DVR recorded it. It looks hilarious from the preview.
