A perverted overdose of raw diabolic metal punk. Sounds like a fist-fight between Hellhammer and Discharge while Motorhead, Bathory & GBH are being blasted in the background! Played by members from other established underground bands.

The Pogues: Just Look Them Straight In The Eye and Say...Pogue Mahone.

OK, 5 CDs of rare tracks and outtakes sounds like a pretty ridiculous idea. And some of this really probably should have been left in the vault. But, there are some great tracks off soundtracks, like an excellent version of Haunted from the Sid & Nancy soundtrack, along with some film score tracks otherwise unavailable. There are some great alternate versions of some of their bigger songs that make them come across as fresh all over again. And, the pure chaos of the band is captured well in this helter skelter collection of odds and ends. Put it on shuffle and spend a day with it and suddenly it starts sounding like a good idea after all.

I thought it would be overkill, too. A lot of box sets, I end up skipping a lot over stuff that you really don't need to hear but that didn't happen here. Outside of that Faces box this might be one of the best I own.

They say Dolls/Stooges meets Skynyrd but I don't know about that. It's fucking good though.

Yeah, I checked out the MySpace page and they have the Ramones shirts and list a bunch of punk influences listed, but I hear way more classic rock from just the first song. I'll give it a listen though.
