I heard the second one wasn't as good. But I'm sure I'll still watch it.

bender's big score was fucking terrible. I can't believe I sat through nearly half of it.

well, it did have a couple of things going against it - a convoluted plot (which, btw, gets a payoff at the end), and disgusting aliens. but overall i thought it was enjoyable.

I think all of the futurama "movies"/Features suffer from length. The first one (i forget the name) was quite a bit funnier on second viewing but it seems like such an effort to watch an 70 minute episode vs. a 20 minute one.

I think the main thing the movies suffer from is coming out in the internet age, thus facing far more scrutiny and amateur criticism.

Generally, I do think the premise is best suited to episodes over feature, though.

The movies have been decent, but most of the time I would rather watch three or four regular episodes in a row rather than one movie, so yeah...

It's still a treat to have new Futurama stuff though.

It was dumber than family guy.

It just wasn't funny. I couldn't even spot many jokes let alone laugh at them.

I haven't seen these movies but Mick's description made it sound like the Simpsons so I'm thinking I won't.

I dug Into the Wild Green Yonder. Any word on what happens now that the direct-to-dvd movies are finished? I saw an internet rumor about a new Fox season, but I've been hearing that for like 6 years now.

Seriously. This show has grown into the oddest mix of funny shit and greasy, unpopped-zit nerd humor I've ever seen. Fucking terrible.
