It's monday night. I'm studying. I'm not wearing pants. I'm drinking Wild Turkey Rare Breed 108 proof.

It's monday again, and I'm drinking again. The triplets are at nanna's (granny's) so I have rare reprive. Don't let me down.

I was weighing on going out tonight, since tomorrow is out of the question, but I just don't really feel like it. I might have a few beers on the balcony while I'm reading, though?

I need to learn how to drink bourbon. That amber liquor always looks inviting.

I'm pretty much off brown liquor forever, save for an occasional cocktail.

Pretty much. I'm not saying I'm done, but after carefully weighing the pros and cons, bourbon and rye offer me nothing spectacular after that first dizzying, wonderful sip. Later on in the whiskey evening, I've probably blacked out and am left with such a crippling hangover that I literally feel like killing myself. Whiskey and beer have totally betrayed me. I can't tolerate much more than a few now of the latter either. I still imbibe, but always regret it terribly the next day. Whereas gin, rum and wine I can take on with gusto and few ill effects. I find it very peculiar how it's come to this.

bourbon's funny, and I definitely have to be in a particular mood for it, but it's more consistent than beer and if sipped casually, works 80% of the time, all the time.

Old-fashioneds, while they get me fucked up, generally don't leave me that hung over, despite the extra sugar.

My problem is that my body has no consistency in the hang-over department and I have no idea what will bring them on. Beer, wine, whiskey, gin, vodka have all given me terrible hangovers on occasion. Quantity seems to play little in the equation as well. So I'm pretty much playing craps every time I drink, but I'm free to drink whatever.

I'm continuing to drink my jug of wine from Saturday. I barely made a dent in the bottle that night.

The triplets are at Nanna's (granny's) so I have a rare night to do what i please. Bourbon - Wild Turkey Rare Breed Again. I also drank two huge draft beers of Sam Adams Summer Ale (at least 40 ounces but I'm not really sure)

And on a related side note, I ate delcious fried pickles.

I'm now six days complete without smoking a single jay, down from 1-4 a day. My perspiration is smelling like really potent weed. All I have left is the choice for a beer or two after sports before bed.
