New album from these guys. I was always pretty lukewarm on them, but with the title of the album, plus "Alcoholics Unanimous" being the title of the first single, plus Frank Black doing the recording, I've got to check it out. It's here if anyone else wants to do the same.

I was meh on their last album, but when I saw them open for the Hold Steady they were pretty damn good. I'll check this out.

I gave it a quick try and it sounded kind of goofy to me. Maybe I wasn't in the mood for it, but I didn't make it past that comic book song.

All right, I'll play it after. I didn't think Bang Bang was all that goofy, but maybe I wasn't paying close attention.

Nice commentary

Having heard it, I can't think of a song I'd rather never hear again as long as I live.

I finally got a chance to hear this, and while it's not quite as good as their first album, it's infinitely better than their most recent. And it certainly does NOT suck!

"Cool your warm jets, Brian Eno." LOLZ

I find myself yelling things out like, "Some people hate the bus. Not me, I can't get enough!"

:)

It's really a fun album.

I just re-listened to their first album the other day and remembered how much I enjoy it. "I've seen her naked twice, TWICE! I've seen her naked, TWICE!"

I should check this one out.

I'm not well-versed on these guys, but this sounds intriguing. Also, what's the point spread?
