He was pretty hoarse, but it didn't seem to impact his singing too much. I do believe he was drinking at the end of the show when I caught him with Lisa and her man friend.

saw Glasvegas last night and was beyond disappointed.

they were so unbelievably boring, what a waste.

i want to go to the show here in boston but only because Ida Maria is opening for them. it's sold out though and i'm not paying $40 for that shit.

is ida marie still opening that show? they dropped off the bill in some other cities, were replaced by thenewno2 and then again by von iva.

it still says so on the venue's website and her myspace. she should drop off and do her own tour.

she was much better...even though that "naked" song is pretty damn cheesy and her guitar player kept pulling out those contrived moves that you're only supposed to do when people appear to be enjoying your set.

another ida criticism if you're going to do a huge buildup, the big chord explosion should not be QUIETER than the build up.

Saw them at SXSW and other than Metallica (which was more for the spectacle) Glasvegas was my highlight. Seriously, beautiful stuff.

this is pretty much what i walked out thinking, too. they came out flat. and then it took forever for the singer to get his shit together. the rest of the band could not pick up the slack. i get the feeling that he makes or breaks their shows. when he was on, they were really good. but he was off way more often.
