The Horrors - Primary Colours

Fucking LOVING this album. Just realized that they're playing Coachella this year, so stoked about that.

Sugar Hill Classics: Rapper's Delight

Old school hip-hop collection with tons of big hits, White Lines, Rappers Delight, The Message, Spoonin' Rap & more. Nice nostalgic stuff.

And I need to give a listen to that new Horrors. I liked the last one quite a bit. How's it compare?

Really different. Heavy JAMC/MBV vibe throughout.

Thanks. I'm sure I'll give it a listen sometime today. That description doesn't sound bad to me.

Yea, is that the real cover art?
How is the album? I haven't liked anything they have done since Behind The Music.

I believe it is the real cover art. As for the music, I thought it was decent if a little long even for a double album (~90 min) with a few too many down- and mid-tempo numbers that aren't that memorable.

So pretty much like every TSOOL album then.

Pretty much, yeah and I like TSOOL. But my complaint with their records is a common one I have with a lot of bands. Edit your fucking albums a bit and don't make every tune over 4 min long. That was my main complaint with First Impressions of Earth too. I mean everybody can't be John Fogerty, but you can at least shoot for that kind of tight 38 minute genius.
