timmy U2 - Heartland : timmy comes out fighting with a standard powerhouse band, but it's fairly typical pop/rock. must be something in the delivery, or the fact that this is music that comes from the heart. i like music that comes from the brain and the tongue and occasionally the genitals. 4/10

rads John Lennon - Borrowed Time : rads counters with a megastarpowered shot of his own! surprisingly has some of Caribbean flavor to it. gains points for being surprising and interesting (to me) and having a good chorus. and that's about it. 5/10

timmy slinks away for the tag, rads does the same. both pairs look like they have something up their sleeve!

dalen Coldplay - Life In Technicolor : dalen jumps into the ring and pulls no punches. the fist lands but unfortunately only with the power of a butterfly. this song sounds like a precursor/intro to another song. as it stands on it's own it's a throw away, but i gotta give it points for not having lead vocals and other shit i find annoying about Coldplay. brevity works in your favor when it's a band i think is crap. 4/10

rparis The Smiths - Meat Is Murder : after brushing off dalen's namby pamby first strike, paris tries to throw his opponent against the ropes. what a terrible intro. but i like vocals and the rhythm is like a rocking chair - back and forth on a hardwood floor. this bands has several much better songs. rparis finishes dalen with a weak clothesline. 5/10
