I know he's old and everything now, but it seems like he aged unreasonably fast. I didn't believe it was him on the cover of Dirt Farmer and recent pictures are even worse.

Have you ever been around anyone with cancer? Even after they temporarily beat it, they generally don't look so great.

Picked this up over the weekend and am enjoying the hell out of it. Anyone who ever liked The Band's stuff will like this.

I hope this gains him some fans so he can play some bigger places.

I can remember around 2003 I was at this place called Chip's Roadhouse in Winder, GA for a birthday party and saw a flyer that Levon was going to be playing there. Believe me when I tell you that this place is in the middle of fucking nowhere and is just a small shack of a place with tin and unpainted plywood walls. About 40 minutes outside of Atlanta.

Guy has been a road dog forever.

Derris, he's been playing some pretty big places since then.
