i found this in an out-of-business mercantile shop in atlanta, in (pop. 822)

three keys don't work and one plays two notes at the same time. ima stick two mics in the grill and see what kind of sounds i can pull out of this bitch, then add twin reverb feedback, some kaoss pad and footstomps and handclaps and call it a rekkid

after that, i might burn it in my backyard

in which case i will post pics

Yeah...that piano just might be a little too cool looking to burn. But I'm looking forward to what kind of sounds you can crank outta it.

As long as the guts aren't a total shit show, doesn't this thing have some real world value to someone, if maybe only after a serious tuneup?

well i did some research, and i found that upright pianos of this ilk tend to sit in peoples living rooms in such an overbearing manner that they build their lives around it and eventually cast it in a similar regard as one might cast a tree growing through the middle of their floor, so when they finally want to get rid of it, they normally give it away for free with the stipulation that the taker has to move it themselves

what i'm saying is, i probably couldn't pay someone to take this piano

also, i've burnt through most of my first bottle of cabernet sauv, so if i'm chatty cathy, please excuse

fug burning. Take an axe to that thing, and record the hashing of it, and release that as a bonus EP to the album you record.
