Derris was the person who told me about not only CMJ, but also Pfork.

I haven't read PFork in over a year, and since I have had this computer (since Feb 08) I haven't even had it bookmarked. BLECH.

I do, I think they serve a purpose even though most of the reviews are awful. Still, I hear about a lot of great bands because of them I think they've had pretty great stuff on the pitchfork.tv thing.

I do prefer stereogum these days.

I'll browse it every few months. I don't really give a shit about most of the news anymore and I stopped reading their reviews years ago.

Pitchfork was one of the first sites I discovered when my family got AOL back in '96. It wasn't very good in those early days, but some of the reviewers turned me on to some enjoyable music. I've read it every weekday for the last 13 years, but mostly I just check out the news items now.

Once every couple months, maybe. Not that I have anything against it, I just forget about it/don't check many music sites.

I scan the news headlines every morning but that's it.

Once in a blue moon they'll review an album I actually care about and then I might read the review out of curiosity.

usually daily, though i only read news and reviews that seem like they're interesting from the blurbs. i'll check the track reviews ever so often. don't really read much of anything else on there.

I have a list of about five sites I check before work every morning and that's one of them. I still consider it one of the better sources of music news/reviews going.

I could count on one hand the amount of times I've been there in the last two years or so and every one of those times, it was something linked from here.

Its not that I don't care, its just that I don't care.
