since it is a french word, "two-er" should be closest. though I'm not sure where the difference would be with "two-r"...

hahaha, true. and, revisited, actually mutty is totally right, it must be toor, with the french "back of the throat" sound, as you like.
it's an elaborated board in terms of language so it's necessary to discuss this in detail.

I try not to pronounce it that way but it still comes out that way. At least I don't use "tawl-ert" paper when I go to the bathroom like my neighbors do.
