oh, I can totally see why. I just like the whole idea of it.

as a lefty, I pretty much should stay out of this conversation, though.

For a lefty, anydamnway.

No, it's a nib that's got a slight tilt in the opposite direction...for lefties.

You know which part the nib is, right? It's the part that touches the paper.

I thought perhaps a Red Wings fan resurrected this thread for gloating purposes.

This is my current pen-of-choice. Mostly because I can buy them a box at a time. For school, we're allowed to use black ink only, and these are the most consistent.

p.s. this thread is still going!

I bought a set of these suckas a little while back for drawing purposes.
They are one sweet ride. Although the art supply dudes say they're going out of style.

But mother-of-g_d do they require care. If you fill em them forget to use them for 2+ weeks then you're spending $30 on a new one. brutal.

I'm still mourning the fact that it seems my fav writing pens have been discontinued:

PS - how did this thread get this far without a parody thread? I mean, just add one key letter and you're in business.

No tania, that's just a parody thread that no self respecting heterosexual male would ever be allowed to live down here, it's up to you girls or opa to start it.

This is my pen also - I usually have both a 07 (fine) and a 05 (extra fine) in my pocket.

ah, but that you can chalk up to thinking that a drunk high schooler acted humorously. Which he did.

What did you pay for that whole set?
I had a set of those in school when we hand drafted. I can attest to them being a maintenance nightmare. I'm so glad I don't have to deal with the leaking ink, clogged tips, and the "oh shit, it's not dry yet" problems.

I still kick myself for not buying a carton of liquid sharpies bofre the y were discontinued. Those things were incredible.

right now I'm liking these:

anything below a .8mm and I just get angry with it.

you guys ever see the bic crystal reviews at Amazon?

I was able to successfully insert my Bic Cristal ballpoint pen into the esophogial area of my attacker's throat and incapacitate him until the constables arrived to take him into custody. Paramedics removed the pen from his throat and returned it to me. Rather amazingly, I wiped the blood and a small amount of body tissue from the pen and used it to write my police statement

This pen does exactly what it's supposed to do, and that's because I made it watch while I killed several of its family members.

yeah, but I'm also cheaper. I lose/am robbed of pens all the time, so I like to roll semi-disposable.

but yeah, now that I'm not in an office, I should look into getting a kickass pen for myself.
