Admittedly, yes. Nice blast from the past.

Update. Saw a couple that I hadn't seen last weekend.

Cabin Fever - Eli Roth's break-in? Was ok. Didn't scare me. The comedy elements were pretty good. Would have been better had they revealed the source of the water contaminant that was responsible instead of rambling with the rednecks. If they did, I missed it and blame drunkenness. Grade: C

Quarantine - Apparently based on REC that Graveyard Girl pimped earlier. Again, not that scary, but had some sincerely creepy images. The last 10 minutes made me not dis it completely, and left a little taste of what a good'un should bring. What was that in the upper attic? Grade: B-

Yeah, Eli Roth seems to go for shock situations (for characters), and not necessarily overall scares... You always see it coming, though the characters might not...

Check out Opera yet? So good I netflixed it, then watched it 2x, and bought it this week...

...and, FYI, I'll second my rec for "Jenifer" by Argento. It's pretty damned creepy, especially for a shot-for-TV, under-an-hour watch, and that's despite Weber. "Cigarette Burns" by Carpenter ain't bad, but it won't give you quite as many nightmares.

The second Maters of Horrors by Argento, "Pelts", kinda sucked though. Good Job, Meat Loaf. Same with the second Carpenter piece, "Pro-life", semi-starring Ron Pearlman...
