Keep your eye on Michael Hamlin

he's already the best safety named hamlin on our roster

Lol, as a Seahawk fan you know I'm well aware of that fact ;) Loved the way that Ken Hamlin would bring the Hammer on guys, but all too often he'd leave us vulnerable by worrying more about the big hit than what else he should be doing.

as in those two 80+ yard runs he whiffed on in the cowboys late-season collapse against the ravens

I love getting Rey Maualuga in the second round, but Andre Smith, while a beast, is probably the protypically wrong player for the Bengals to draft right now. what are you gonna do. I'd say it's an average draft for Cincinnati, which for them is around a D+.

Didn't Maualuga get like a 4 on the wonderlic test?

he also got out-benchpressed by his kicker

He's only a two down guy at best. I was sort of enamored by him because A.he's Samoan and B.went to USC but his stock dropped like a rock recently. Best of luck though to the Bengals, you guys have had a rough go of it with these linebackers of late.

I'm pretty pleased with what the Packers did. Raji could be a stud, athletic and quick at that size is a nice combo. Matthews could start right away as well.

I was really happy with both of the players the Packers took in the first round. I am sure they were tempted to take Crabtree when he was still available, but I think Raji was the better pick since they are switching to a 3-4 defense. I think they will have to start looking for replacements for Charles Woodson and Al Harris before too long. They're both still good players, but I doubt either one has a lot of seasons left in their career.

it took me a little while to warm up to it, but now i'm stoked for Pat White. i'm sure Flying Rabbit can back me up here, but this kid is special and i can only imagine what he will add to the wildcat package now.

we definitely took care of a glaring need in the defensive backfield, and i trust in parcells and co. that one of the 2 wr's we took in the middle rounds will be a gem.

still a little disappointed we didn't trade a 2nd and 3rd for boldin, but damn, tuna is building a solid, young team from the ground up.
