I was just talking to someone about this yesterday. I've only met one person in my life that would actually CHOOSE American cheese over other cheeses.

My flavor is from butter and the garlic powder/salt I put on the bread.

I find I have to nuke the setup for about 15 seconds first, and THEN grill it in a skillit on both sides to brown it. Otherwise something has to give -- not melted inside, or too dark outside. Heresy, I know...
