The song is pure cheese, and not in a good way.
Of course, I was in High School (late HS) when it came out, so it just doesn't have the same nostalgia value for me that it probably does for you.

I might put it on a mix for someone on death row, just for the irony.

I think they give Alabama's greatest hits out standard to freshman at UGA along with Hank Williams Jr. & David Allan Coe.

David Allan Coe is the man!

I could burn the EP for you. My computer sucks too bad to even involve it with music.
Let me know.

I loaded this song on my x-box and added it to the stadium playlist in NBA 2K5. So now coming out of timeouts, this song comes on. It's pretty awesome and pumps me up for these 12 point comebacks.

Kid you you have the hijacked X-Box where you put in the 120gb had and can save like 60 games on it.

Faith No More did a kick-ass sorta-cover of The Final Countdown one time when I saw them....

I've got a fantastic bootleg with this as their opening music, but done all techno-d up with a heavy beat and all. Very funny. I don't think, however, that the band is actually playing it. It sounds like an intro tape. Did they actually play the song when you saw them?

. . . I miss Faith No More . . .

now please, don't start knocking Boston.

"Boston" by Boston might be one of the most underrated/overlooked (by critics) albums ever...

I actually admit to liking Third Stage. "Hollyann" is a great song, I don't care what anyone says about post-70s Boston. Melodramatic? Yes. Cheesy? Possibly. But you really can't beat an album that boasts of containing the first launch of an organ-powered spacecraft. You just don't get to hear that everyday.

I didn't even know you could do that.

How?
