The final season starts tonight.

I wouldn't have even known if I hadn't noticed the show on the TV guide while flipping around.

Apparently ABC is going all-out for their new acquisition.

I never understood that.

Aren't shows with just one or two comic relief characters pretty much awful?

i.e. Family Guy with Peter, Stewie, and Brian

I'm looking forward to it, although the show is on it's last legs..

their is rumor that if this shortened season does well, it'd come back next year, either w/o Zack Braff & creator Bill Lawrence or as a spin off featuring some of the new interns of this coming season.....

This is what makes me meh. I knew someone who was friends with Sarah Chalke's fiance (or boyfriend or whatever) and he said most of the main players were done with the show and ready to move on to other things. (or so I heard)

Entertainment Weekly interviewed Lawrence and he said ABC might opt to bring it back (sans he and Braff) if it does above a 3 rating because it's so cheap to produce and ABC would get cut in on syndication fees.

He said this season will have a proper ending for Braff's character since the show is done as far as he's concerned.

Apparently Judy Reyes is done and wants to move on too. I don't know how you could continue Turk's character without Carla and it seems inevitable that JD and Elliott will wind up together.

Anyway, I thought tonight's episodes were pretty good. I read they were taking it back to a season 1 mixture of comedy with drama/emotional bits and that was very evident in the second episode.

Yeah, I actually thought last night's episodes were better than most of last year's stuff.

Aziz Ansari should provide some good material.

Yeah... I really don't like this show...

...but I heard that Aziz Ansari is going to be on a few episodes, so I'll probably watch them (and be slightly annoyed while doing it). Missed last nights', though...

Series finale tomorrow.

I'm still not over the finale of Gilmore Girls.

I hate endings.

There's talk that ABC might keep it around another year with some of the cast returning or recurring.

This was such a good season, i think they should just call it a day and end this baby on top of their game.

I'm oddly attracted to the "Gooch". She's got a band:

FYI.

Well JD and Carla are definitely done and I'm assuming that Eliot and Turk would be too then.

I'd still watch with Cox, Kelso, Todd, Ted, and the new interns but it obviously wouldn't be the same.

that intern denise is smoking hot

i'd keep watching if they kept cox, kelso, the todd, ted and the janitor

frankly, zach braff has kind of grown tiresome, so that won't be as big a loss as you might think

i'll miss sarah chalke more than anyone...*homer drool*

I didn't try very hard, but I was never able to even crack a smile while watching this show.
