I interviewed them for my show once. Nice folks. I actually liked their album "Benaki".

As for the band name, yeah, they said they didn't know about the other band. Who knows. They said they get that all the time, so they're aware of it. Whether they are taking advantage of people mis-reading the name, or they just really, really like Hermit Thrushes.
