It's Hook City... from beginning to end.
And, not cheezy 5¢ and 10¢ hooks, but razor-sharp. Great songs. Period.

dog problems is totally great. I did some research a while ago and found this myspace site of the new band but I wasn't too impressed by the demo.
I'm excited for the album anyway.

No kidding. I don't know what got into me, but I've listened to Dog Problems about a dozen times over the last week or so. Told myself I wouldn't play any songs from it today.... but now... damn!

Planet Money used one of their songs the other day, which reminded me of this record.

Holy hell; catchy as flypaper. Some around here would violently object to this, but if you liked The Format even a little bit this will be right up your alley. Strong.
