Anyone with little ones have a CD of straight up kids songs? I'm not looking for kids versions of cool indie albums (although I won't turn them down). I'm looking for the classics (Mary Had A Little Lamb, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, etc).

I'm being ordered to know these songs YESTERDAY.

Any help would be really appreciated.

I mean, why the fuck are you supposed to be serenading this poor little bastard now? Like, I could see it happening once on the casual, but this smacks of planning.

Parry Gripp - Do You Like Waffles?

the main dude from Nerf Herder put out this album (and another one) . all 30 second-ish jingles almost all about food. other than the "traditional" catchy pop jingle there are songs that take on a different genre/style (Ramones/punk, lounge, E6 psychepop, hip hop, etc.)

it sounds silly, and maybe for kids (especially for those with short attention spands) it'll do the trick, but i'd recommend this to anybody. it makes me jealous i didn't write these awesome/easy/catchy songs myself.

song titles include Do You Like Waffles, Melvin the Magical Hot Dog, Say Hello To Your Brand New Favorite Pizza, Hip Hop Hooraisin and many more.

(note - you can probably find a ton of his jingles/work on youtube.

Busty you're gonna have to bite the bullet and either go get an album of this shit at the store, or a loaded pistol.

ABC's, Baa Baa Black Sheep, and Twinkle Little Star all have the same melody, so there's 3 right there. I play mine in C, G, and F with an Am7th thrown in there.

I could load up a Dan Zanes(of the Del Fuegos) Mix if you want? They're updated folk songs and some originals, but very bearable and learnable too. I also have some old school recording of Sam Hinton folk songs, includes the Mr. Rabbit song.

Just downloaded and I'll take a listen later. Thanks.

And don't fret...I may opt for the pistol anyway depending on how the next few months go.
