If I learned anything from the tv show "Fame" it's special people can sing "Penny Lane" really really well.

The closest I've ever come to singing karaoke is singing with the band that we throw together to play a set of covers at my job's Christmas party. We are all drunk. And it is much fun.

Dude lived at the group home I used to work at called it "Petty Wayne"

Two other of his favorites: "Alone Again (Nashville Lee)" and "Sowing The Seeds Above."

He had a speech impediment, though.

Nothing beats the dude crooning "The Banana Boat" song at the nudist karaoke featured on the Phoenix (?) episode of "Insomniac".

Hey! I know Wayne Allard. Wayne Allard is a friend of mine. And Wayne Allard is certainly not petty.

[/piss-poor effort at politics joke]

Agreed. That was hilarious. As I recall he was an ex-cop as well.

I wanted to do that, but the places I've been to never have that song...

My fave so far: "Angels" by Robbie Williams.

I got in trouble yesterday for writing "I'm such a retard" on another message board. I forgot that one of the guys over there has a baby with Downs. So everytime I see "retard", I do a little look over my shoulder like I'm going to get caught again.

FT, that picture's awesome. You have a slender arm.

Christmas Party 2k6, I sang "Living On A Prayer". And with a male coworker, did "Close My Eyes" (I was Lita Ford). Pure awesomeness.
I have also since that last post sung Journey with a live-band karaoke group called Knight Seeker. I would do karaoke (if properly boozed), but I can never pick a song.

Yeah, for some reason TEH FATT has never really moved to my arms or legs, and I even still have diminished glutes (i.e. flat ass). If I could only get back to a single chin, I might even be able to fool people into thinking I'm merely TEH CHUBB.

Oh, and that pic was taken at Schuba's, right in your backyard.
