Dead Moon is a great band and not metal.

Rancid is not a great band. I would say everyone on any other music board would put them in the guilty pleasure category. I don't really have a problem with them, although I don't really like them, but I'd say they're fairly lumped into the Green Day/Blink 192/etc. category.

I've gotta side with CP on this one, although this board's general taste in music (although not always great) would beat her general taste in music anyday. It's just that those ten bands she listed are almost all better than Rancid.
