So I heard her perform on Letterman tonight. Totally fell in love with her voice. Jazzy, laid back performer.

I guess she's got a sophomore release out called My One and Only Thrill. It is quite good on first listen. What's more is her story. Allmusic has a brief write up biography up: http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=am ... qrdld6e~T1

Extremely interesting story. I saw her debut album mentioned in some np threads but could not find anything significant about her otherwise.

PM me and I'll up the album.

The allmusic link should give you good info on RIYLs etc.

I am sure there are a handful of you that already know about her and this album, but thought I'd share anyway since no one has yet.

I'd be curious on some others' thoughts on her full length debut "Worrisome Heart".

I don't have enough of a context for those similar artists to know how accurate it is. I don't hear an ounce of Shania Twain in this album though, if that's any consolation.

Isn't this her 3rd album?

Also, RIYL: Madeleine Peyroux, Diana Krall

To the best of my knowledge, Worrisome Heart came out in 2007(ish) and there was an EP before that but I am not sure. Allmusic lists three albums and I assume the one that is not this one and Worrisome Heart was the EP...as we've all learned so well around here, I could be wrong.
