...the song "Lovely Allen" by Holy Fuck! I just caught it on Olbermann.

Great! Now bail-out money is going to Canada

Seriously tho, I was surprised to say the least. I wonder if Chrysler knows the name of the band.....lmao.

Last night during the NBA finals, I heard a Wedding Present song as the music during a commerical spot with the narrator talking up confidence in the company in the future. I shite you knot.

Spoken like someone who has never driven a recent incarnation of one.

<==Proud owner of 2007 Dodge Magnum RT (w/5.7 Liter 340 HP Hemi V8 ) Nicest riding, handling, fastest car I've ever had the priviledge of driving, let alone owning.

yeah, while I think that the overall quality of some of their vehicles is lacking, Chrysler has taken some swings over the years and at least TRIED to make cars that people WANT, to their credit.

Every rental chrysler I've gotten stuck with in the last 3 years has been hot garbage.

Also, I don't think anyone's making uglier cars today.

I'm fine with cube-y cars I guess, but I was finer with it when it was just the Honda Element, and then the even-squarer Scion xB. Now Kia's got one, Ford's got a big one (surprise), and Nissan's gonna have one.

The xB is actually fun to drive (zipcar), and the room is nice for something that little.

Seems like you'd just be trying to make yourself feel better for not going full on van. (no offense cats) Because that's essentially what it is.

I mean, I can see the utility aspect. I know a guy who has an Element but he has 2 young kids and is big into camping and mountain biking so he's always throwing a bunch of shit in the back of it. Seems like you could meet those needs with any number of other vehicles though.

these are for people who really want or could use a SUV or a van but want to try to maintain some self delusion about being an environmentalist cuz they can claim an additional 3 MPG

Actually this thing is really cheap and gets over 30 mpg. That's way better than my Element that gets about 23 and way cheaper than a minivan.
