they are playing a show here tonight in portland, the hometown...and they had their shit stolen.

dang. it's sold out too.

i'm not going, but still. that kinda sucks.

if it helps at all there was a rash of like 6 bands getting their shit stolen in Philly a few years back. But then nobody brags about te majesty of Philly. Unless there's somebody from Detroit in the room.

i've heard that about portland from a few bands...

is there still a significant drug problem in the city? i remember hearing all kinds of not so good things in the mid-late 90s.

always a drug problem here - meth problems mainly. plus a lot of junkies and nearly everyone smokes a lot of weed. plus a bunch of drunks. haha. maybe its the weather.

Portland is the only place where I've ever smoked local weed and cried, not intentionally.
