What if their album sucks royally?

You'd die for the Arcade Fire / Wolf Parade / Final Fantasy triple bill (3 nights) that's going on here some time soon.

OH MY FUCKIN GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wouldn't even know what to do with myself. Seriously.

And we'll see what happens when the full-length is released in June! This is one of my highly anticipated releases of the year, and if the full-length sounds anything like the EP.... then I stand by my word.

(I think I need to make a trip to Montreal. :D)

How are you liking blue eyed in the red room?

I found a used copy of corymb at amoeba for $6, but when I was walking around in the store I set it down somewhere and then couldn't find it. I'll be back there tomorrow for solomon burke, so I'll check to see if an employee picked it up and put it back.

I haven't dl'd it yet -- my DSL service is temporarily on hiatus due to something going on with Verizon. Two days now without and I'm starting to have DTs. How did I get spoiled so quickly?

Elaborate. I've seen Wolf Parade a few times and was underwhelmed. I haven't heard the EP, but you have? Is it really a shnorer?

Oh yeah,
I've also been on a big proto-post-punk kick (Wire, Gang Of 4, Mission Of Burma, etc.) in case you haven't noticed.

I've been obsessed with wolf parade since i got a hold of their EP in the fall, i too am really looking forward to their release this summer.
if it sucks, i'll be very sad... they definitely have potential to make a really good album

i've been on a huge david bowie kick lately, but i couldn't tell you why, not that you need a reason with him

Any, every, and all songs/groups contained on the 6 discs of mongerousness that i have recieved from billzebubba and Radcliffe over the past 2 weeks. I mean this shit is radioactive and OPEN QUAL.

I can see some 4-5 am rock out drunk fests in our fine soundproof suite in NO this weekend. Jesus bubba, I'm bringing in the big guns. Shit is gonna get heavy.

Yeah it's not original, but it's well pulled off. With songs like 'Brother', they could be as big as Interpol.

I really like the Arcade Fire. I'd never equate them with Wolf Parade. Not even because they're friends. Wolf Parade has done nothing for me and I hate their presence.

RIYL : Post-punk bands that aren't Gang Of Four. An all female line up. Peter Hook style basslines. A great female lead. Good music.
