Big Star, with Dinosaur Jr. in a solid 2nd.

I agree. JAMC first, with Big Star and Dinosaur Jr fighting it out for second.

I thought we were voting for the album and not the compact disc.

Spent more time with Big Star so that's over JAMC.

I ended up going JAMC but I gotta say it's good to see Pink getting some love. That's by far my favorite album of theirs post-Syd no matter how played out some of it is now.

I voted for WYWH, because it's my favorite Floyd album AND LooGAR hates "Welcome to the DumpJack" so much!

Yeah, I contemplated this one as well. I ended up voting for #1 Record.

I'm surprised Dinosaur Jr hasn't done so well...it's a very good album.

I abstain on this round. I like Big Star, JAMC, and D Jr but not enough for me to pick one over the other. I'd vote anything but Smashing Pumpkins if that were an option.

Yeah, even though most of these albums would make a Sub-150 of my faves ever, this is the best one. That Punkins' rekkid holds up surprisingly well

A vote for Big Star however would help its chances against Pink Floyd.

1 day only might not get the greatest turnout on these polls. I guess we'll see.

Big Star, no contest.

Actually Dino Jr. might take it if I'd listened to it more.

Floyd 3rd, JAMC 4th (meh), Pumpkins 5th (bleh)

Why? They are truly one of the most underwhelming bands to ever tune up. And I say that as someone who owns all their output and generally likes them. But I wouldn't confuse them with world beaters.

One of my favorite bands ever. Not much else to say. I like the first album but Radio City and Third/Sister Lovers are top 20 material for me.

I abstained as well. These just aren't albums I listen to, I would substitute a close third place winner in some of the other category for this grouping.
