I had dinner with Scott tonight, as he's in town for some other appointments. Lots of music and sports talk. Arkansas was top of mind, especially since their CWS game was on and went into extra innings.

He's good people. Nice to add another boarder to my list for the first time in forever.

What are the rest of you waiting for?

Unfortunately, I have to go to Brownsville on bidness next month. The Last Wife was born there, so it has a stain that will never wash away.

It's the greatest state in the union, and don't you forget it.

Never got around to taking any. Besides, the lighting was too dim. No flash on my iPhone.

Perhaps we can commission cemeterypolka to provide an artistic rendering.

All I'm trying to do is plant them seeds of love with that girl from Brownsville, Texas.

As someone who was born and raised in Texas, I am fully qualified and extrremely willing to say that Texas is simultaneously the greatest AND worst state of them all. We giveth and we taketh away.

And even though he's not around here much anymore, I've met TThorn a couple times and he's awesome people as well.

Didn't even think of taking pictures. I would like to see the artistic rendering though...

Bob, thanks for meeting with me... I enjoyed it!!! I really enjoyed watching Arkansas win later in the night, too.

Now, I'll just get to endure another drubbing at the hands of LSU (most likely).
