One of my favorite bands ever. Not much else to say. I like the first album but Radio City and Third/Sister Lovers are top 20 material for me.

Fair enough.

I don't know if I've ever heard a Big Star song.

I wouldn't mind fixing that.

You've heard the song from That 70s Show as played by Cheap Trick.

Trust me, the Big Star version is better, and that isn't even close to being one of their best songs.

YLAOM as its my favorite album or at least was for a long time. I like the Big Star and JAMC as well, though I wouldn't have voted for Big Star because as Dumpjack said that is a CD not an album.

I dunno. The TV show nicked the 40 seconds of the song that works. There's another couple minutes of either version that just lays there. But I'm not a member of the Big Star cult. To me, they get celebrated more for failure than success - and I don't simply mean financial failure.

Voted Darklands though it appears to be in vain.

Yeah, wait a second... I've wasted almost ten years of my life on a message board comprised of Floyd fans? Fuck you all.

Surprised by all the Pink Floyd love, but Darklands is just about the "definition of meh" for me.

i think this is the grouping i was least invested in. It's the only Pink Floyd i've ever listened to all the way through by choice, it's not too bad.
