Oh I think some of these facts are debatable, given that they started ELO together, and Jeff Lynne's songs on the first album smoke every one of Roy Wood's (except maybe Wood's shameless ripoff of "Classical Gas").

Allan Iverson -- the rare baller who can spit, with a heart of gold and a chip on his shoulder the size of Gibraltar, a real lover and hater... now, I'm waiting for the vault to be opened and Jewelz's debut to hit (though I am sure, if I were one for file-sharing, I could get the disc in its entirety, already)

Tori Amos -- not so much for the music, but because she has been inordinately bizarre thruout her career, but managed to stay in good graces of taste-makers, and such
