No, the band just moved in a direction I didn't care for compared to their earlier stuff. I hate the way Daltrey's voice in particular sounds after Tommy.

Except that Quadraphenia is far and away their best record.

I will mention that on another board i sometimes frequent there's a guy who posts a You Tube video of "Won't Get Fooled Again" everytime Obama has a policy that is pretty much the same as George Bush (happens fairly often actually). He's a right wing hack but I chuckle anyways: Meet the new boss, indeed.
