it takes a lot to piss a guy like me off.

but when i
spend
an hour
cutting up
and seasoning
vegetables
and
then i
go to
fire up the grill

and instead of being
decent and usable
the grill
falls over
and
its rusting bottom
gives out...

that will do it

god god
damnit damnit

i don't want this
frozen pizza
i want my
brats and taters

One of the wheels on my grill rusted off so now its up on a couple of bricks. That being said, I grilled some delicious pork chops tonight.

Sorry for your loss cats, you frozen pizza eating Nancy.

Nice. Just saw that commercial during the Braves telecast.

That Peppermint Chocolate shake they had around Christmas was so good it'd make you wanna slap your mama.

Are you currently unemployed?
What are your medical benefits now vs. once you contract?

Edit: Day one and almost to page 4.

I just read in the local newspaper that it has been 40yrs since Zager and Evans "In the year 2525" was a Number One Hit song. It was Number One for six weeks and sold 20 Million copies. It remains the best selling single from this city/state.

cats,

If I were unemployed, I would jump at the chance to work. This will not only bring in some cash, it could open some doors. (Unless it is something that will make you miserable.)

It is not typical for a recording artist to have a number one hit single and then never have another chart single for the rest of their career. "In the Year 2525" gave Zager and Evans this status twice. They were, and remain, the only act to do this in both the U.S. and UK singles charts. Their followup single on RCA-Victor, "Mr. Turnkey" (a song about a rapist who nails his own wrist to the wall as punishment for his crime), failed to chart.

On a somewhat related note, I had some Peach ice cream at Whole Foods last night that was made with 3.5lbs of peaches. Fuck it was good. Puts my mom's homemade peach ice cream to shame!
