The Bourbon Theatre here in Lincoln actually has a a fancy Bourbon bar with some pretentious bartender. They made some bacon infused bourbon cocktail and make their own tonic water.

Where did you get the Bacon ice cream? I have a friend with a severe bacon addiction, he even makes his own.

it was homemade. the bacon was carmelized. you could still tell it was bacon, but it made for an interesting sweet-yet-savory taste experience



so yeah, sunday's meat-tivities were pretty much: 5 slabs marinated brisket, 1 super dog, bacon ice cream, homebrewed beer

and some cherries

one of my friends had made it, so i'm not sure if he did it correctly. he also put jalapeno in it, which didn't help.

I've had it, too. It was awful. I'd imagine that it'd work better with a Bloody Mary, but then I don't drink those.
