This is the first round of the tournament stage. Please vote for the album that you feel should move on to the second round.

Bolan should handily win here.

T-Rex. I can't even make a sentimental vote for this Floyd album.

I really hate what this particular Floyd record did to that band. If they had done the material they worked up live in 1974 instead of this one (two of the three major songs on Animals) and Waters hadn't been so adamant about silly conceptual frameworks, the band might have taken a less monolithic and ultimately boring tone for the rest of the decade.

Instead, they became pretty much the embodiment of a smug, bloated, self-important, grandiose late 70s rock production from 1975-80.

That all said, I would've voted for T. Rex against almost any Floyd record except the debut and Dark Side.

I have a soft spot for this particular Floyd album for sentimental reasons, but it's not a better album than Electric Warrior. T. Rex gets my vote.

The blanket Pink Floyd hate is a little ridiculous, but this poll is going in the right direction.

i've got no problem with floyd. at one point, in high school, they were probably my favorite band.

now i go trex, no contest. it would be tougher if this was animals though.
