This is a Lincoln band that just signed to Saddle Creek. Their drummer is a high school friend of my brother, and they played the CF benefit gig that we put on this past April. They got a 6.6, which is surprisingly good. Their singer is mentioned a ton in the review as being the best aspect of the band, but around here she's a point of contention and not necessarily well liked as a vocalist. They are basically Nebraska's answer to Deerhoof.

This does not sound like Deerhoof.

It's OK. 5 tracks in, and I'd say 6.6 is about right.

You can blame the guitarist for it. He has an eye chart up in his room and was making letter combinations from it while he was having trouble sleeping.

This was one of them, but it actually had an XY in it briefly.
