I like Revolver fine, but I will take Rocks Off alone over the entire Beatles catalogue.

one of the amazing things about Revolver is that the longest song is 3:09. and seven of the songs are under 2:30

"Love You To" is only 3:01, but to me it seems like nine weeks and five days.

Dave I love you but this is not something to be proud of. This is like bragging about a brain tumor.

I'd take Rocks Off over everything in the Beatles catalogue other than Strawberry Fields Forever.

still, i try with them. Why? For example, up til maybe three years ago i couldn't stand Neil Young's voice, but loved Dylan's. Now i sincerely dig on Young, he's a badass. Maybe someday i'll come around on the stones, but it hasn't happened yet.

No, it's like bragging that you have had an orgasm with someone else in the room. It's not only the best song ever made, it's a way of fucking, life, Bubba. And if you don't understand it, then I could give you the vaccination, but it wouldn't be a cure. The Stones are a better band than The Beatles ever claimed to be. In this world, they really ARE bigger than Jesus.

Fair enough, though.

A large portion of The Stones catalog is laughable (very close to embarrasing) at best, so that makes The Beatles a far superior band.

For a dude who proclaims to like music, drugs and sex as much as you do, you really are a poncey little public school boy, aren't you?

Have fun on Penny Lane with your boots and mac. I'll be at Villefranche-Sur-Mer with the Johns Brothers and Gram Parsons.

oh please, don't get your panties in a bunch (again) over The Stones. if you think they're more rock n roll than any other band, you're sorely mistaken, and dare i say, ignorant.

stop being so predictable.

and i knew it was going to be either DJ or the other drone Cap'n chiming in with something...el doucho.
