So okay I'm watching Chuckwagon Races on CBC because I really had no idea this existed.

It's like Calgary NASCAR and everything.

I only watch them for the crashes.

Is this similar to the commercial when the chuckwagon comes out from under the undersink pantry and the dog chases the checkered schooner all over the house?

Yeah, except there's a bunch of large, round-spectacled men named Gord in yellow shirts and white cowboy hats with ferocious Genghis Khan expressions hurtling their teams down a stadium course at chuckwagon light speed.

It's ridiculous and fascinating at the same time, especially since there are sponsors on the sides of the wagon canvas, similiar to NASCAR.

And like 75,000 spectators or something. I dunno, maybe more.

They're killing a lot of horses this year.

Yeah seems like that would happen.

What else is there to watch in auto racing besides crashes and commercials? It's certainly not for the insightful commentating.
