I know some of you STILL care. I do, but not as much as before the green album came out. I don't know if I like this sound for them. Thoughts?

"I'm just a teenage dirtbag, baby..."
this song sounds like that lame band Wheatus (remember them?), who were Weezer rip-offs in the first place.

My god I can't believe this band made Pinkerton and The Blue Album

Eh, the video was shot at the Playboy Mansion, and features sundry and various PB models (playmates and catalog models, I imagine), so that will be hot, at least, and even if the track isn't.

Though, I still like it. It captures the 80s metal vibe that Maladroit attempted, but was just too loud to pull off. "Beverly Hills" sounds like "Dope Nose", stripped of the mid-90s harder alt-rock taggings.

You can totally sing the Sweater song to the guitar part in the chorus.

I think Weezer have blatantly been trying to suck for a while now.

Yes- since they decided to become a band.

We should keep in mind that Weezer have a habit of releasing first singles that are very different than the rest of the album (Hash Pipe, Dope Nose, etc.).

Someone should smack Rivers over the head with a vinyl copy of Pinkerton.

If I had one, I wouldn't want to risk $300+ on ebay just to send him a message...

Maybe just frisbee copies of the "Hash Pipe" 7" at his head instead..

Oh dear god. Tell me he doesn't break out and start rapping.

I'm only a minute and a half through this and I want to turn it off.

"Beverly Hills, that's where I want to be"

Oh no.

This is.. wow. Wow.

Has any other band in history garnered more good will from two albums than weezer?

No matter how much miserable shit these guys put out, tons of people still get excited about new material, only to inevitibly be disappointed.

Good Charlotte are a better band than Weezer.
