Yea I taped this last week after seeing Sacks on The Daily Show. Really cool and interesting. I'd be interested in his book, but it looks like a monster.

i was really underwhelmed with the special. interesting, yeah. but really poorly done. for instance there was nothing actually about the brain of the guy who got struck by lightning.

it's pretty accessible.


are we talking about Musicology? i agree it's accessible, and it seems to be (i've read about half of it so far) a series of case studies, so it's chunked up pretty good without getting in too deep for too long.
