This is the second round of the tournament stage. Please vote for the album that you feel should move on to the quarterfinals (aka Sweet 16).

To encourage as many votes as possible, the deadline to vote will be Wednesday at 1:00PM Eastern.

Television, Tom Verlaine and Richard Lloyd trump Westerberg and Co. in my book.

It was the best of times, it was the blurst of times.

Jesus.... I will lay in wait and try to ruin the chances of the 'Mats, but both of these albums are really not very good.

Special guest referee Peter Buck pulls a mandolin from under the mat, smashes it over the heads of Verlaine and Lloyd. White powder everywhere. Bob Stinson passes out on one of the prone guitarists for the 3-count.

Pretty much sums it up for me as well.

I haven't spent anywhere near enough time with these to vote in good conscience.

Make Television the new Carthage.

Slaughter, raze to the ground all traces and salt the earth of their mass grave so that the leaking nutrients of their cursed remains do not so much as product a single blade of grass for a thousand years or more.

Went ahead and voted Replacements. I really like Marquee Moon. But, it was one of those albums that for years I had heard bits of and didn't care about at all. It's only been the last few years where it has grown on me to be something I really enjoy. So, I went with the album that I liked from the first time I put down the needle and have listened to and enjoyed most over the years. My favorite Replacements album and it's not even close.

This one sucks! So hard to pick between two of my favorites, but I have to go with TV on this one. Even though it hurts to do so.

Oh well...

I don't know what I am missing, but this album just isn't very good, guys.

Marquee Moon all the way. Great record versus a record I could care less to hear.
